Young volunteers

It is lovely that young people continue to come forward to volunteer at our food bank each Saturday. This is very encouraging to the team of adults, as it gives us a breath of fresh air and an opportunity to share lessons and to pass on experience. We try and ensure that the young people participate in a number of roles so that they go forward with a positive memory and with some useful life skills.

With a team of typically eight young people each Saturday it means we sometimes need additional adult helpers. If you are over 18 years of age and would also like to join the food bank team, or even the SVP Team, then why not get in touch? We have lots of roles, so there will be one that will be the perfect fit for you!!

Finally, as always, please remain aware of need around you and just contact the SVP if you think that we can be of help. We'll always do our best.
