Four Pillars

The four pillars of the SVP, globally as well as locally, are caring for the lonely, the sick, the poor and the imprisoned. Most SVP teams, known as 'conferences', are based around these four needs, and visiting the lonely and vulnerable in the community has traditionally been, and remains, one of the core activities of many conferences.

Your local conference is no different! In this spell of hot weather, please keep an eye on your vulnerable neighbours and please let them know that they are being thought about. Many of you do this already as part of your daily life, and this is brilliant. If any extra help is needed, though, and if you think that the SVP may be able to help out, then please do not hesitate to contact us. We'll always do our best.
