Thank you to those who responded positively to our recent appeal for more food bank volunteers. We still have a small number of spaces available for adults and for 14-18-year-olds, especially Duke of Edinburgh Award candidates. The hours are 11am to 2pm on Saturdays, but you would not be expected to attend every Saturday.
If you find you like the experience of volunteering, consider joining the SVP team itself. We help our community in a number of ways and always welcome more people to the team. If you would like to know more, please reach out to any of us.
Finally, as always, please keep an eye out for anyone in our community who may need support and contact us if you think the SVP can be of help. We’ll always do our best.
