Firstly, thank you to everyone who supported our SVP shop, known as Gifted, last weekend. There was certainly a buzz around the tables in the porch and we hope you managed to find some lovely Christmas presents.
Secondly, your SVP team held its regular monthly meeting on Monday evening and a date for your diary emerged: on the weekend of Nov. 21-22, the wonderful young people in our B-Attitudes team will hold a cake sale after all Masses. The funds will buy Christmas presents for the residents of our local care home, Brackenbridge House. Members of the adult SVP team visit Brackenbridge House each week to provide company to the residents and it is heartening to see the young people mirror our support through this annual Christmas tradition! Please remember the elderly residents in your prayers.
