Birthdays come around quicker and quicker, it seems, and on Wednesday we are blessed to be able to remember that of St Vincent de Paul again! He was born in Gascony in 1581 and went on to spend much of his life in Paris, where he set about addressing the issues of poverty and hunger in very practical ways. The SVP Team would like to thank everyone who helped make last Saturday’s bingo evening such a lovely event. As a team, we are conscious that we always seem to be asking you for things, so it was a real blessing for us to ‘give back’ and to be able to arrange the bingo evening while raising funds for the needs of the parish. We hope that those who attended had a joyful and fun evening and the mix of ages was really brilliant to see!

It is a real energy boost for the SVP Team when we see your support in action and we’re looking forward to a lovely ‘homely’ bingo evening next Saturday!
