Thank you in advance for the continuing support you show for the SVP! This weekend the SVP shop, known as ‘Gifted’, is open before and after all masses. We are selling tickets for the SVP’s St. Patrick’s Day Bingo Evening. This fundraiser will be held on Saturday, March 14, with eyes down at 7pm. Don’t miss out on your ticket as numbers are limited.

On a different note, we continue to see fabulous young people come forward to help us at the food bank each Saturday. Since the start of the year, we have gained almost a football team-sized group! This helps them achieve their Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) goals and it helps us spread the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit to our food bank clients – so a win-win!! Please pray for these young people as they are our future.

Diaries can get very busy, very quickly, these days so this note is a heads up, well ahead of time! The SVP St Patrick’s Day Bingo Evening will be held on Saturday, March 14, with eyes down at 7pm. Tickets will be on sale next weekend after all masses so please pop by the SVP shop, Gifted, to purchase yours! There is a safety limit to the number of people allowed in the hall for an event such as this so it is best to purchase your tickets sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment. Thank you for all your support at our SVP shop, known as ‘Gifted’, last weekend. It was great to hear the buzz around the tables before and after masses and we hope that you were able to find what you needed. We have taken some orders away and are now working on getting those items for you.

Spring is definitely on the way and if you would like something to do in the lengthening evenings then why not consider joining the SVP Team. Additional help with home visits, care home visits, mentoring the B-Attitudes etc is always needed and joining our team might be just the ticket for you!!

Everything is well and truly back to normal now and we hope you find something nice in our shop, named ‘Gifted’, this weekend!

On Wednesday, it being the first Wednesday of the month, our Bereavement Support Group will be offering hot drinks, biscuits and a friendly ear to all who need someone to chat with. The group be in the hall at 1030am until noon.

Other team members also remain busy with home and care home visits, the B-Attitudes and the food bank.

Our SVP fund raising shop, known as ‘Gifted’, will make its first appearance of 2026 next weekend in the church porch. We have procured some lovely new items and these include St Patrick’s Day cards and gifts. If you like to get things done early, why not pop along and see what we have on offer? Please note that WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT CASH AT PRESENT as we get our electronic payment machine reconfigured.
